Santa Clara Square is an expansive mixed-use community with 1,847 high-end apartments spread over seven buildings. As a signature project for the drywall subcontractor, the goal was to work with their partners, Western National Group, the general contractor and The Irvine Company, the project owner, to provide the best product available on the market to tenants. For Irvine, achieving a higher standard in sound control was key.

With school district unification agreements requiring classes for 2014-2015, staying on schedule was critical.
Hilton Goes Quiet for New Executive Meeting Center

Gobbell Hays Partners, Inc. was tasked with building the new DoubleTree Executive Meeting Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in compliance with the IACC standards, including a projected STC Rating between 50 and 60. This 15,000 sq ft. new construction includes teleconference rooms, event planner accommodations, convenient business center and lounge areas, and 7,500 net sq. ft. of flexible meeting space.

When Sheldon Adelson opened his 1.2 million sq. ft. Sands Expo and Convention Center in 1990, it was the largest privately owned convention facility in the world. It’s now bigger and better,with the latest upgrades completed last year and solid operating results.
Together, the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Palazzo and Venetian make up the world’s largest integrated resort. It includes over 2.3 million square feet of convention and exhibition space, 7,000 guest suites and a wide array of shopping, dining and entertainment options.

Originally built in 1957, the completely updated sports venue has had a very positive effect on all businesses in the immediate surrounding area. One such beneficiary was the brand new Tundra Lodge Resort.
Historical Military Base Gets Quiet

Fort Sam, Houston
With an eye to keeping the historical integrity of the post intact, the first of four new construction
projects using PABCO Gypsum's innovative acoustical products that will make up the majority of the
post’s new METC (Medical Education Training Campus) dormitories. These units will house up to
2,400 military medical personnel for short-term training and education. Additionally, construction
is scheduled for 1,200 apartments over the course of the next year.
Construction of the 682 modular sections that comprise the METC dormitories were completed
offsite using PABCO Gypsum’s QuietRock sound reducing drywall.
Tacoma Hospital Goes Beyond the Basics

MultiCare, Tacoma Hospital
MultiCare is a leading-edge, integrated health organization made up of four hospitals. A not-for-profit organization since 1882 and based in Tacoma, Washington, MultiCare is the area’s largest provider of health care services, serving patients at 93 locations in Pierce, South King, Kitsap and Thurston counties. MultiCare partnered with architectural firm Giffin Bolte Jurgens on a substantial new 200,000 sq, ft., five floor addition to their campus in Tacoma, Washington. The project is slated to be four occupied floors, with a fifth mechanical floor.
The addition will make MultiCare one of the biggest emergency departments in the Northwest including a new cancer center.
